Wetterstein Mountain – El Dorado for Hikers

Just 20 min. away from the hiking hotel in Tyrol are the Wetterstein mountains. The most famous mountain is the Zugspitze (2962 m), followed by Schneefernerkopf (2875 m) and the Zugspitzeck (2820 m). Various difficulties and a combination of mountain pastures and rocky regions. A real paradise for climbers and hikers.


Wetterstein Mountain Tours

Start your tour with Wanghalm (mountain pasture) for example. 5.8 km and a duration of 2 to 3 hours. A route suitable for beginners too. This tour should be perfectly be climbed in November. More details you find here:


Our second recommended tour leads to the top of Gehrenspitze (2367 m) with a total lenght of 13 km. Start at Leutasch Gasse and hike for approx. 5 to 6 hours. From May to November is the best period to climb. Appropriate footwear and suitable clothes are a must have. Tour details here:
